How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days:

Andie: Our love fern! You let it die!
Ben: No, honey, it's just sleeping.

Ok, maybe that isn't a fern, but it is a love plant.

How do I know this?

Because I got it on Valentine's Day. From my bosses at work.

Valentine's Day plant = Love plant.

I might, however, be killing the love. Quite literally.

Having never owned a living plant before, I kinda forgot that you have to water it every once in a while. In fact, it took several days and more than one yellowed leaf and withered flower to make me realize that I should probably change something about the way I was taking care of this precious love plant. [Aka: start taking care of it at all.]

So I've started watering it. The tag also says something about "sunlight," but I don't want to get too ahead of myself.

After all, my love plant might just be sleeping.
