adventures

At work, there is a closet that I organize almost daily. This constant organization and reorganization is made necessary by the fact that we are always adding new decorations, gifts, and other random crap necessities.

For your viewing pleasure:

The closet.

In all its glory.

Which brings me to my next point.

Sometimes the boxes are very heavy. I know this because, well...I try to lift them.

Yesterday, I tried to lift a box this size:

(No, not the medium box to the right. The one on the left. That's right. That huge baby.)

down off of the very top of one of the shelves. Consequently, the use of my head was quite necessary. My arms are buff, but when a box weighs 300 pounds, they tend to suffer. (Slight exaggeration. But only about my arms being buff. Ok maybe about the 300 pounds. But not about the suffering.) In the process of trying to get the box down with my arms and my head, my hair got caught on the tape on the top of the box.

Just picture it. I'm standing on a stool, holding a humongous box in my arms, using my head as a buffer, and getting my hair caught in the tape.

I'm sure it was quite a sight to behold.

Fortunately or unfortunately, no one was there to witness it.

Luckily, I stepped down off the stool without any egregious accidents, but I couldn't quite stand up straight to set the box down, because, well...my hair was still caught in the tape.

So I had to spend the next few minutes bent over trying to get my hair out of the tape.

At least work is never boring.

Ok. Exaggeration.

At least I have adventures.

You and your tape stories. It brings to mind the infamous glass door flier taping fiasco. Don't worry, I still love you.
